Teens have many different issues that they have to face during their life, including the transition through puberty. Puberty has a huge impact on teens, however, one thing I learned in this class is how the age for onset puberty is becoming younger and younger.
This is something we are going to have to stay very aware of as educators. If the age of onset puberty is something we are no longer mainly focusing on in high school, but instead elementary school, the topics we focus on learning during these grades as teachers may need to be adjusted.
